Middle Kentucky is a private, non-profit organization that was incorporated in 1965. The agency is a Community Action Agency that was established to provide and promote necessary services to low-income families in Eastern Kentucky in the counties of Breathitt, Lee, Owsley and Wolfe.

Head Start is now accepting applications for the 2017-2018 program year. New this year - child must turn three by August 1 to be age eligible for the program. Certain guidelines do apply.
